The Role: We are looking for an Senior Accountant who will have responsibility for supporting internal financial reporting processes and controls. This role will support the financial reporting needs for our internal business partners and for external reporting as required. This will be a hybrid role where you'll be onsite 1-3 days a week. Responsibilities: Support the monthly close for areas including cash, investments, lease accounting, fixed assets and prepaids. Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure accurate and complete financial information. Perform analytical reviews of assigned areas within the financial statements, including fluctuation analysis. Perform as a key participant in independent annual audits and quarterly reviews. Support a continuous improvement approach to improve accounting operations efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability. Support SEC reporting, internal SOX audits. Partner with FP&A team to ensure accuracy of financial information Requirements: 3+ years of industry experience in fintech and/or financial services preferred; a desire to work in a fast growing, exciting and agile business. Fluency with GAAP and accounting policy Comprehension of ASC 606, 842 Experience working with external auditors and tax providers. Sound organizational skills, timeline management skills and attention to detail Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes; very good verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong with Excel; prior NetSuite experience. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time in an office setting or in home office setting while working. For residents of San Francisco/Bay Area, CA or New York, NY the annual salary range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 + annual bonus. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, annual bonus, and other factors.
