Legal Billing Analyst

Responsibilities: Coordinate and maintain billing portfolios Maintain the billing system's data Interpret and process Partner billing instructions into the billing system Review time entries to ensure proper matter coding, billing rates, compliance with client guidelines and/or e-billing guidelines Prepare client bills Ensure all analysis is proofread and accurately presented Maintain the specifics of particular billing arrangements between clients and Partners Process bill batches Respond to client billing and payment queries Assist with cash receipts and research cash receipt issues Communicate with staff as related to billing Maintain reporting schedules Prepare daily and weekly billing report for Firm management Process both scheduled and ad-hoc billing reports for the Partners Prepare final year-end billing analysis Prepare client-related billing projects Submit and monitors e-bills to various e-billing sites Requirements: Associate's degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred 2+ years of billing experience; preferably legal billing Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Strong knowledge in E-billing systems, electronic invoicing and compliance with client billing guidelines Elite 3E Electronic Billing Systems experience a plus Ability to multitask and prioritize Interpersonal skills in order to work effectively within a team environment, as well as independently with a great group of co-workers.
