Sprezzatura seeks a Information Technology Specialist to join our growing team. The Information Technology (IT) Specialist will be responsible for leading, administering, developing, and supporting information technology systems and services critical to operational success. This role involves working with a variety of technologies, including data storage, networking, software applications, and information assurance. The IT Specialist will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient, secure, and reliable delivery of data and IT services. They will also play a critical role in modernizing systems, managing data governance, and maintaining legacy platforms to meet current and future business needs. Key Responsibilities: Administer, develop, and maintain IT systems and services, ensuring high availability and performance. Design, implement, and manage secure networks and storage solutions to support business operations. Evaluate existing legacy systems and recommend upgrades, replacements, or enhancements to meet evolving needs. Develop and implement IT solutions to store, manipulate, analyze, and transmit data securely and efficiently. Ensure the security and integrity of data through information assurance practices and adherence to relevant policies. Manage data governance processes to ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices. Design and deliver web-based solutions, software applications, and operational systems to meet the needs of VA and other stakeholders. Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuity of services. Collaborate with various stakeholders to compile, evaluate, and disseminate accurate, relevant, and timely data and information. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. At least 4 years of experience working with IT systems, software development, networking, or data management. Experience in information assurance, IT governance, or secure IT solutions is highly preferred. Technical Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of networking, data storage, and IT infrastructure. Experience with web-based designs, software applications, and operational systems. Expertise in information assurance practices, including encryption, access controls, and cybersecurity protocols. Familiarity with legacy system evaluation and modernization efforts. Knowledge of data governance practices and the ability to design and implement compliant solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot IT-related issues. Proficiency with tools and systems used for data analysis, document storage, and secure data transmission. Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience preparing technical reports, documentation, and presentations. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). Familiarity with federal IT governance frameworks and policies. Experience working within government, defense, or healthcare IT environments. Transitioning military and/or Veterans with IT/IS, finance, and/or healthcare systems specialties are invited to apply.
