Position Description: Assistant Director of Graduate School Full-time 12-month, Exempt Position Remote Position The Assistant Director of Graduate Recruitment and Admissions, reporting to the Director of Graduate School Admissions, is responsible for implementing a comprehensive and coordinated graduate recruitment effort for the entire university. The position's main goal is to increase graduate enrollment while fostering and advancing relationships with that will increase graduate admissions. Duties And Responsibilities: Maintain the recruitment of new student inquiries within assigned territories. Communicate with prospective students through multiple communication channels to include in person meetings, CRM, email, text messaging and phone conversations (SKYPE, WHATSAPP, ZOOM, etc.) Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to track communications, summarize meetings, plan and host events. In additional to targeted emails and text messages with inquiries, applicants and admitted students, daily outreach phone calls are expected. Maintain accurate and confidential information in the client relationship management systems (CRM) within a regulated environment, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Follow relationship management protocols and demonstrate the ability to meet or exceed enrollment targets. Develop relationships with university faculty and staff to facilitate seamless student support. Support Director to develop processes for graduate recruitment strategies based on market information, industry needs, and input from current partners as well as support and collaborate with graduate admissions staff. Collaborate with Graduate Faculty & Staff to ensure successful transition between departments. Represent Capitol at recruiting events such as education fairs, career fairs, community, and other business-related events. Develop and implement an annual recruiting plan targeting the corporate community. Additionally, develop corporate/business, community, educational, military and government partner relationships. Maintain relationships through visits/cultivation, networking, generate leads, and recruiting events. Some travel with evenings and weekends required. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Graduate School Admissions. Position Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required from an accredited four-year college/university. Two to three years of experience in recruiting, sales or business/corporate relations. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Availability for travel along with possible weekends. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook Must demonstrate the ability to handle change and set and manage multiple priorities tasks and deadlines while working with diverse personalities. Exceptional attention to accuracy and detail. Strong organizational skills. Patience, flexibility, understanding, dedication, initiative, confidentiality, and the ability to work and learn within a team. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited four-year college/university, or equivalent preparation & experience. The ability to handle change and instruction while maintaining professionalism and an open mind A background in higher education, specifically working with adult students, is a plus. Adaptable and open to process improvement.
