NFI Massachusetts, Inc., a private non-profit human services agency, is currently seeking a full time Residential Clinician for our program located in Amesbury, MA. Youth referred to the program are in need of temporary out-of-home placement to address a range of emotional and behavioral issues. The program offers 24 hour staffing that provides support and supervision. Comprehensive clinical services include treatment planning, life skills training, individual/group/family therapy and access to social and recreational resources in the community. The highly structured milieu provides a safe and predictable context in which youth can stabilize behaviors, progress in treatment and develop new skills. Staff members serve as teachers and coaches, developing practical supports and interventions for youth that are readily transferable to the home environment and can be easily understood and taught to families. While the program specializes in family reunification, it also works with youth who transfer to foster care or independent living. Starting Salary: $70,000 Job Responsibilities: Support the Clinical Director with the overall planning, implementation and oversight of the clinical services provided by the program. Assess new referrals to the program and arrange or conduct testing and evaluations as needed. Develop and/or oversee development of individual treatment plans in cooperation with program staff, other relevant service providers, client's family (when appropriate) and client. Review client clinical records to ensure quality and compliance with funding source regulations. Provide appropriate feedback and training for program staff regarding record keeping. Provide individual counseling, when appropriate, as defined by each client's clinical treatment plan. Facilitate and/or coordinate clinical in-service training. Develop curriculum for therapeutic groups. Collaborate with program management and staff regarding therapeutic milieu and clinical orientation of program. Facilitate family meetings and home visits, as defined by each client's clinical treatment plan. Act as a liaison with psychiatrist and other agencies providing auxiliary clinical services. Coordinate, facilitate and/or participate in case conferences, treatment meetings and clinical review meetings, as appropriate. Be familiar with all program emergency procedures. The schedule may require some evenings. Job Requirements: Completed Master's Degree in Social Work or related field required. License eligible - LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT required. Previous experience with adolescent population and their families and expertise in crisis stabilization and management preferred. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and writing skills required.
