Product Owner Senior | McLean, VA Mc Lean, VA (Onsite) USC, GC 69/hr C2C Freddie Mac Primary Skills Product Design,SQL This position may be offered to a candidate authorized to work in the US for his/her/their stated employer, without any restrictions which would prevent the candidate from working on the proposed assignment for the duration of the assignment period. Must Haves: Must have experience with Agile methodology. Experience in a prior Product Owner position (maintaining product road maps, back logs in JIRA) is a requirement, Project Management experience isn't sufficient. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with prior experience working with stakeholders. Strong preference for prior experience as a Product Owner supporting data engineering/DevOps spaces. Another plus would be familiarity with AWS. Job Duties Manage design and development of data product comprising reusable data pipelines to support batch processing of large volumes of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data Manage product backlog, epics and features and prioritize by closely working with CPO and business/IT stakeholders Set a vision for the product, define roadmap hands-on data analysis and documentation. Execute and deliver product vision and solutions to solve business problems Drives continuous improvement of the product management process by documenting and reviewing processes and procedures Drive requirements with automation first mindset Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in computer science or IT, Advanced degree preferred 8+ years of overall experience 3+ years of relevant experience in data product management, platform development and data technology 3+ years of database technologies Oracle, DB2, Mongo DB, NoSQL DBs, PostgreSQL, Snowflake Experience with any of Cloud technologies like AWS S3, EC2, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes/Amazon EKS, EMR, Hadoop Experience with Attunity, Kafka, AMQ or similar streaming tools is a plus Prior experience in the primary or secondary mortgage industry is desirable Deep knowledge of various enterprise level Platforms widely used in the industry is desirable
