EHS Manager

Job Description Overview: We are seeking a qualified EHS Manager to join our team. Safety is a core value, and as a safety professional, you will play a crucial role in facilitating our growth in a safe and compliant manner. This position will focus on compliance, analysis and investigation, and promoting safety behaviors. The EHS Manager will report to the Chief Operating Officer. Job Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive environmental health and safety programs for manufacturing operations, construction sites, and various locations. Ensure compliance with written programs, customer compliance websites, posters, logs, marketing materials, and documentation for regulatory agencies. Represent the company during audits from regulatory bodies or customers, facilitate corrective actions, and handle communications related to audits or inquiries. Establish inspection policies, procedures, and schedules for routine inspections, involving all employees and ensuring timely implementation of identified improvements. Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and collaborate with leadership and human resources to implement corrective actions. Analyze data to predict hazards and co-develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company, including offsite customer locations. Prepare, schedule, and deliver safety training on emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics for new hires, annual compliance, and post-accident situations. Develop processes that reinforce safe behaviors and contribute to a culture of safety. Support human resources by providing documentation for work compensation processing. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Five years of related experience preferred. OSHA 30 Hour Certification in both Construction and General Industry. Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies in manufacturing facilities and construction sites. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in technology and equipment used for environmental inspections, as well as Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. Successful experience with change management.
