Job Title: Sr. IT Project Manager O365/Cloud Centric :: Hybrid! Location: Branchburg NJ Job Type : Hybrid Duration: 12 months Opening : 1 Opening ! Interview Mode : Phone and Video ! Duties & Responsibilities: Senior Technical Project Manager for IT projects in large scale that are directly related to Firewalls/Fortinet deployment type of projects and other Datacenter product integration. The Project Manager will be responsible for conducting business analysis, migration planning, and implementation support to Telecommunication and his customers. Perform project planning activities related to discovery, scheduling, deployment and post-migration phases Use the agreed project methodology and documentation for all projects to deliver to determined standards and quality. This will include ensuring adherence by the project team to procedural and document standards. Support the project team to successfully deliver project tasks to time, quality and budget. Facilitate project status/steering meetings and communicate with senior leadership and project stakeholders. Assist in the production of estimates of effort for new projects, liaising with management, and planning team members. Escalate, communicate, and take prompt remedial actions when there is slippage against the plan of project activity. Report and communicate project progress regularly to relevant personnel and provide management reports when necessary. Identify and record ongoing issues and risks and take appropriate actions to deliver mitigating results. Manage and monitor project budgets if appropriate and liaise with the business units and IT Teams, reporting to budget sponsors when necessary. Confirm with appropriate technical resource and Information Security Officer that all projects meet industry-standard security policies and requirements. Organize user acceptance testing events with relevant business personnel. Ensure feedback from user testing is input into the project development lifecycle as appropriate. Adhere to and incorporate into project technology standards, including change control, risk control, acceptance, and IT security procedures. Help the department make incremental improvements in the quality of the service it offers and to enhance the professional functioning of the department. Coordinate Data Center department activities. Coordinate monthly board reports. Education: bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field preferred. Work Experience Considered. Certified PM (PMP) and/or Scrum Master preferred. CCNA certification is preferred Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in project management required. Experience working in Datacenter project managing Firewalls. The applicants must have the following: Demonstrated expertise in managing large scale projects. Working knowledge of project management and security concepts Strong understanding Project manager and network Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills required. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts. Excellent time management and organizational skills with appropriate sense of urgency and proactive approach. Computer Skills: Highly experienced with Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project.
