Location New York, New York Shift: Day Flex (United States of America) Description: Physician Assistant - DHK Ambulatory Surgery - Flex/Rotational Practice the art and science of evidence-based medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. The PA will be responsible for all preoperative and postoperative work within the Ambulatory Surgery and Interventional Radiology space. There may be opportunity to first or second assist in the operating room as well. The position includes coverage for multi surgical specialties including: • General surgery Urology ENT Ophthalmology Breast surgery Podiatry GYN Orthopedics Plastic surgery Spine surgery Robotic surgery Interventional Radiology In addition, the PA is expected to work in the in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to recover and treat any acute medical issues. This position is for 10 hour 4 days shift rotation from 7am to 430pm (Monday to Friday) with flex rotation to late float shift from 1030am to 8pm shift. This position can also be converted to a 12.5 hour 3 days/week rotation as needed.
