Position Location: Annapolis Junction Role & Responsibilities - Champion technical solution development and drive next generation architecture forward utilizing commercial and government best practices for ensuring secure key solutions. Innovate and define technical approach and responses for software delivery, and system solutioning. "This is how it has always been done" is not the answer. Planning, implementation, and evolution of technical solution sets for evaluation and analysis as part of existing system modernization efforts. Ability to see impacts of system changes at scale, minimizing technical debt and critical thinking related to strategic moves regarding Identity, Credentialing, and Access Management Solutions. Provide fundamental knowledge on applying technologies like containerization to legacy physical workloads, the ability to identify automation improvements, and the ability to communicate pros/cons as part of the technical decision making process. Work with the Development, Engineering, Architecture, and Testing teams to define the set of tools and processes for the continuous delivery pipeline. Demonstrate a high level of familiarity with software patterns and modern design methodology. Software development on Linux based platforms. Advocate for automation in all aspects of the system (build, deployment, test, updating, and monitoring). Mentor and grow technical performers (SWEs, SAs, SEs). Qualifications / Background TS/SCI with Polygraph level Clearance is required to support this effort Fourteen (14) years' experience in Engineering or in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required Bachelors degree in a Technical or related discipline is required 5 years' of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to build relationships and navigate complex situations Software development background (preferred) Compensation and Benefits: Competitive Pay: Annual salary ranges from $185,000 to $275,000. Salaries depend on labor category, years of experience, education, skills relevant to the position, and type of contract.
