Site Director Key Responsibilities: Be a servant leader who demonstrates the key principles of lean continuous improvement. Provide oversight and direction to the workflow of the Fulfillment Operations department to ensure they are focused on timely and accurate planning, WM Activities, receiving, inspection, put-away, cycle-counting/inventory control activities, picking and shipping activities, spec pack projects, returns processing, and miscellaneous work order activities. Collaborate with other teams to ensure operational success as defined by safely shipping the end customers' orders that are accurate, well packed, on-time -- all in a cost-effective manner. These teams will include WMS planning team, Inventory Control, Engineering, Maintenance, Client Services, IT, Human Resources, Marketing, and Finance. Provides input to the development of product/services strategy and research and development of new and emerging products/services offered. Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and establishes and maintains KPI data relative to all processes in fulfillment operations, ensuring that all obligations are met within requirements. Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met. Directs daily production activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of Human Resources, space and equipment. Oversees fulfillment operations training for the awareness and compliance of all assigned employees with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations. Bring a culture of optimizing safety, cost of fulfillment operations, and continuous improvement/new innovation. Qualifications Qualifications: Must embody our core values, customer first and our customers customer first approach, sustainability goals and be able to manage a team in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's Degree in business, administration, engineering, or other relevant fields. Five years minimum of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of further education and experience. Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to motivate and build a strong cohesive team Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Previous experience with a Warehouse Management System is required, Manhattan experience is preferred Candidate must possess good organization skills and ability to manage multiple tasks This role will require travel in support of new startups, training, development, and sales. 25% travel is expected, and this will change with business needs. Startup of new sites may require prolonged travel between the various Jay Group sites.
