Position Type: Maintenance/Custodial/Custodian Date Posted: 9/23/2024 Location: Centinela Valley Union High School District Personnel Commission CLASSIFIED JOB ANNOUNCEMENT Centinela Valley Union High School District SUBSTITUTE - ON CALL POSITION: Custodian TYPE: On call as needed. These positions work Monday-Friday. COMPENSATION: Range 27; Schedule M; Step 1: $ 20.24 Hourly TYPE OF RECRUITMENT: This is an OPEN recruitment to establish a list of substitutes for the classification of Program Technician II (Substitute). No effort will be made to maintain a rank order of the applicants (P.C. Rule 60.100.5). TESTING PROCEDURE: The examination process will consist of a written examination. Testing may occur on a weekly basis. Applicants will be notified of their application status via email. DESCRIPTION: The job of Custodian is done for the purpose/s of providing custodial services at assigned site; ensuring an attractive, sanitary and safe environment for students, staff and visitors; performing a variety of special cleaning operations; and assisting in preparing facilities for classroom activities and campus events. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid California driver's license.
