Position Summary: Fiduciary Trust International's Business Development department is responsible for the development of new business from high-net-worth (HNW) individual investors, their families and related institutions. The Business Development Associate (BDA) is responsible for supporting their associated Wealth Director / Sales Director and their team by providing support in the development of new business from potential clients. This is a hybrid position with three days in office (Midtown Manhattan - NYC). Key Responsibilities: Sales Support and Team Collaboration - Collaborate with teammates to ensure new leads and potential client additions are tracked within Fiduciary's CRM system Partner with Wealth Director to lead sales meetings, prioritize prospect/client meetings, pipeline management, and assist with preparing for market sales meetings Partner with Financial Planning team to develop clients' Financial Plans Partner with Relationship Associates and Investment Associates to insure an efficient client experience with respect to opening new accounts, cash flow analysis, fee analysis, and defining proposed asset allocation Coordinate materials/slides with various team members; collaborate with Presentation Center and Legal team as needed Serve as key stakeholder in RFP process; partner with team to coordinate and organize a streamlined approach while tracking in SharePoint and CRM Keep team apprised on national events and initiatives Conduct research on prospective clients Build and expand COI network to help with lead generation Provide general team support and prepare and submit various internal company documents Client Onboarding and Events/Sponsorship - Assist with account opening process by partnering with internal Investment and/or Trust Officers Acts as Events and Sponsorship Liaison to successfully coordinate and implement all office special events with National Events and Sponsorship Manager Coordinate amongst teams on office events and sponsorship approval process, while consolidating event lists Ideal Qualifications & Experience: Ideal candidates will have - Bachelor's degree in a business-related field 2-3 years' experience within the finance industry, preferably in a support capacity Prior client service experience preferred Strong communication written and verbal communication skills. Experience in writing and responding to RFPs/RFIs a plus Experience maintaining a data repository a plus Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail required Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage projects consistently with prompt follow through in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment Team player mentality / collaborative attitude Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism required Excellent telephone etiquette with the ability to communicate directly with clients (HNW Investors) and senior managers Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We expect the base salary for this position to range between $58,700 - $72,000 per year. Actual pay offered will depend on the candidate's job-related skills and experience.
