Field Service Engineer

Description Position Details : Title: Field Service Engineer Location: Bethlehem, PA Shift: M-F Day Compensation: $73k-$82k Total Comp. $30/hr + Travel Pay & OT while on service trips. Benefits: Med, Dent, Vis, 401k/w partial match up to 8% Travel: Frequent travel for weeks at a time Position Description : Interface with customers to determine the issue(s) at hand. Perform diagnosis of the various systems when the problem(s) occur. Perform repairs based on diagnosis to return the equipment back into operational state. Monitor the performance of the equipment to ensure a successful repair. Maintain a clean and safe working area and provide training to customer personnel. Installation and run-off of new equipment and document services performed. Requirements: Must be able to travel extensively in the United States, Mexico and Canada, occasionally in Europe. Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge for onsite troubleshooting. Strong understanding of electrical systems and components and CNC equipment operation. Good communication and problem solving as well as reporting and documentation skills. Interpret schematics (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical) and blueprints for assembly/specifications. Work independently or team environment and be in the field for sustained periods of time. Valid driver's license, pass port, clean records.
