The Office of the Secretary of State is recruiting to fill a permanent full-time Information Technology Specialist I (ITS I) position in the Information Technology Division (ITD). Under the general direction of the Information Technology Supervisor II, the Information Technology Specialist I, ServiceNow Administrator-Developer, will be responsible for the configuration, development, support, and maintenance of applications running on the ServiceNow platform. Work with stakeholders to understand, propose, and deliver solutions with primary emphasis on enhancing the end-user experience, providing essential support and training to team members, identifying areas for improvement by assessing business processes, defining goals, and proposing recommendations. The incumbent in this position is working to support the Client Engagement Services Section (CESS) ServiceNow solutions for all SOS departments. Desirable Qualifications: 2 years of ServiceNow platform administration and development experience. Certified Systems Administrator (CSA) certification. Knowledge of application or web development, programming, database management, or content management systems (CMS) Hands-on technical troubleshooting capabilities. Analytical and problem-solving skills, including good research skills Sound understanding of CMDB and enterprise network architecture. Working knowledge of ITSM, HRSD, GRC-IRM, and WSD applications. Solid understanding of the application development lifecycle process, including requirement analysis, quality assurance, design, scheduling, implementation, issue tracking, version control, and deployment.
