Who we're looking for: MHA is seeking an accomplished analytics leader to build and scale our enterprise analytics and insights capabilities. The Director, Analytics & Insights Enablement will report directly to the VP of Strategic Analytics and will lead the continuous improvement of data-driven decision-making across the organization. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for creating value through the development and enhancement of our analytics platforms, BI tools, and processes. The successful candidate will act as the critical bridge between data and business strategy, delivering a suite of analytics and BI solutions that are insightful, actionable, and drive tangible outcomes across the organization. What You'll Be Doing: Serve as the business owner and subject matter expert for MHA's enterprise analytics and business intelligence capabilities, with full accountability for the end-to-end delivery process-from data mining to BI product deployment. Collaborate with internal stakeholders including senior leadership, Insights & Analytics, Finance, HR, Sales, and Trade teams to deeply understand their needs and deliver analytics and BI products that address business challenges and unlock value. Define and maintain a clear, actionable strategy and roadmap for analytics and BI in alignment with Strategic Analytics goals, ensuring stakeholder engagement and transparency. Monitor product utilization and assess business impact to identify issues and opportunities, driving adoption, continuous improvement, and measurable business value through data-driven insights. Provide hands-on, strategic leadership in product design and implementation by leading architectural reviews, design sessions, and rapid prototyping to ensure robust, scalable solutions. Oversee BI product operations and delivery teams, managing daily activities to ensure system availability, agile enhancements, and a high level of responsiveness to business needs. Collaborate closely with IT and Data Management teams to ensure data integrity, system performance, and a strong infrastructure that supports high-quality analytics and BI capabilities. Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, or equivalent) preferred. 8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data management, with at least 3+ years in a senior or leadership role within the healthcare industry. Proven expertise in healthcare data analytics, including familiarity with 1st-party and 3rd-party operational and financial data sets related to pharmacy procurement, supply chain, reimbursement, and contracting (e.g., EDI, dispensing, claims, PLD, EHR, etc.). In-depth experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services (Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, etc.) and Power BI for enterprise-level business intelligence and reporting solutions. Strong hands-on experience with data modeling, mining, and ETL processes within cloud environments, specifically utilizing Azure-based tools and technologies. Demonstrated ability to lead the development and delivery of analytics and BI solutions that address complex healthcare challenges and drive business outcomes. Proficiency in DAX and Power Query for designing, developing, and optimizing complex Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, data management, business stakeholders) to ensure the alignment of analytics capabilities with organizational goals. Familiarity with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH) and compliance requirements, ensuring all analytics and BI processes adhere to legal standards for data privacy and security. Strong leadership and project management skills, with a focus on agile methodologies and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders. Experience with AI/ML or predictive analytics tools and techniques within the healthcare domain is a plus.
