Job Summary: In partnership with the VP of Operations and Senior Field Service Manager, the Projects & Services Planning Manager prepares and manages complete and detailed bid packages for shop, field services, turnarounds, and corporate projects per customer specification sfor all SIS product verticals. The Projects & Services Planning Manager will oversee the deployment, maintenance, and management of all company-owned field assets. The Projects & Services Planning Manager will provide management and commercial support to on-site Asset Managers and their field service support team who coordinate and direct field service jobs for valve repair, testing, machining, and diagnosis services. The Projects & Services Planning Manager will oversee all dedicated field service technicians teams located at the branch-level and on-site Asset Managers for contract field jobs. Their respective teams will be responsible for installation, connection, servicing, testing, adjustment, repair, maintenance, removal, trouble shooting, inspection, and replacement of various valve types per the customers' scope of work and/or the customer's special instructions. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Review the process of customer's requests for quotations (RFQs) to help keep the process and criteria current in order to reach bid decisions, which best satisfies the company's goals and objectives Partner with Account Managers to perform pre-outage walk downs to ensure accessibility to all equipment, including but not limited to, valves, actuators, etc. Utilize job scopes, subject matter experts, technical literature, equipment drawings, field visits, job safety aids, safety standards, etc. to develop detailed, safe, and efficient job plans Collaborate with Branch Manager, Operations Manager, Production Manager, and Service Manager to ensure successful coordination and detailed planning of project(s) and turnaround(s) Incorporate historical data from purchase orders, Valvkeep analysis, etc. into unit and man-hour figures Prepare estimates including labor, materials, etc. needed to complete the job(s) and project(s) Effectively maintain files of working documents and backups for estimates Submit estimate for approval as per Bill of Authority (BOA) approval procedure Coordinate with Account Manager, Sales Director, Area Operations Director, and submit Setpoint approved estimate to the end user Verify required site specific safety orientations have been obtained to ensure access to customer sites Partner with Service Coordinators and Service Managers to ensure successful coordination and execution of project(s) and turnaround(s) Setup pre & post turnaround meetings to include Account Managers, Sales Directors, Area Operations Directors, Business Execution, Service Manager, Service Coordinator, etc. Provide strategic operational and commercial direction to on-site Asset Managers and their field service support team as needed Schedule deployment and return of company field assets as needed Implement and oversee programming for required maintenance of company field assets as needed Ensure required weekly safety meetings and others as required by Setpoint's safety procedures are conducted on field jobs Ensure adherence to the Setpoint fatigue management system for field job work Ensure implementation of and adherence to the Setpoint quality management system to ensure field jobs arecompleted and delivered on time with the highest quality and cost efficiency Learn and enforce the usage of the ValvKeep service software as required by Setpoint procedures and enforce accountability for field jobs Ensure Field Service Supervisors and Asset Managers can read, interpret, and train others on Safety Data Sheets (SDS), pre-cautions, Personnel Protection Equipment (PPE), hazards levels, etc. Ensure all needed field service supplies are available and oversee all cost spending on field service supplies and equipment Coordinate with Field Service Supervisor and/or Asset Manager on all parts requests to ensure timely ordering and materials to complete valves Familiar with ASME, NBIC, and VR Programs and ensure employees are also trained on this material Ensure all training is performed and documented in regards to safety, Setpoint quality procedures, site specific, and work instruction Positional Requirements & Qualifications: Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent (GED) 5 or more years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience Skills & Abilities Highly organized Effective time-management Detail-oriented Strong leadership Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. Able to work collectively with the administrative team associates. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Must be able to travel and have a clear driving record in accordance to company driving guidelines. Clear background check and drug and alcohol screening Must be able to effectively perform on-site customer visits/walk downs Essential Physical Functions: Lifting up to 25 pounds Bending, stooping, ability to stand for extended periods of time
