Branch Manager at Amerestore Restoration holds a tremendous amount of responsibility in the success of Amerestore Restoration as a company. This position is part of the leadership team, senior management and is expected to take the company vision, methodologies, short & long-term goals, etc. to directly support & grow the office. BM will be responsible for the success and image of Amerestore Restoration, including but not limited to jobsite quality, customer service, documentation, communication, PROFITABILITY, etc. The BM will manage the Senior Lead Technicians for local jobs and will be the acting Large Loss Manager for anything on the road or large locally. Position includes, but not limited to, the ideology, building & development, design, SOP's, implementation, training, management of large loss, etc. BM will report to the Regional Manager and may be asked from time to time to participate in additional management roles & responsibilities. The BM will lead by example following the company's mission statement and core values. Positivity is Contagious!! Reports To: Regional Manager Direct Reports: Senior Lead Technicians (if no Senior Lead at this location, then direct reports will be Lead Technicians) Essential Roles & Responsibilities: BM has the ability and knowledge of all aspects of the Senior Lead Technician position, in addition to the following: • Branch Management o BM #1 goal is to make those employees at his/her location as successful as possible. o Assist in the decision when hiring new senior lead techs, lead techs or technicians. o Assist HR in the disciplinary actions for SLT, LT, TCH (verbal, written, dismissal) o All team members meet Amerestore & Client Service Level Agreements o Ensure Amerestore process and procedure compliance. o Ensure Amerestore software compliance per department/role o Ensure Amerestore communication and documentation to corporate is accurate and timely. o Industry best practices compliance - Attend industry training and networking events. Be a part of the industry. o Assist in the development and management of KPI's per department/role. o Develop and adjust SOP's to make the operations team better, faster, cheaper o Work with local contractors in building vendor relationships, signed contracts, pre-determined pricing, insurance compliance. o Production ALWAYS comes 1st. When the BM is not actively managing a project, he/she is working on Large Loss preparation or Training o Large loss jobs will be managed and produced like all other jobs in the company. o Ensure that all vehicles, trailers, etc. are ready to always respond. BM is responsible for the upkeep, cleanliness and maintenance of the fleet o Work directly with Amerestore corporate in a professional manner, meeting deadlines, supplying requested information in a timely manner o Lead by example with the passion, drive and determination for success.....Success oriented mindset o Daily Responsibilities : § Run the morning meetings with OM • File management • Compliance • Schedules • Training § Assist SLT with technical information or difficult situations (mentor) § Review all job scopes, NTE and budgets within 4 hours of being onsite § Review all daily burn rates on all projects. § Adjust any project, in REAL-TIME, to ensure success. § Support corporate office staff for success. § Follow-up with sales team and clients to insure we win every bid (teamwork) § Do whatever it takes to capture EVERY lead......We do NOT say "no" § Foster a professional office environment - this is the BM's office o Weekly Meetings § Touch-Point with subordinates (SLT or LT) • # of jobs received prior week per PM • NTE, Budgets & WIP review • # of jobs invoiced prior week and GP per job • Are we meeting GP expectations? • What do we need to change to meet GP goals? • Additional training needs § Location challenges, attitude, culture, stress levels, etc. o Point person for all SLT...All SLT report to BM.....BM will not let SLT fail • Training o Training will be in accordance with and approved by the Amerestore Education Department o The BM is responsible for the professional growth of his/her staff. § In-house training § 3rdparty training (in accordance with education department) o Responsible for keeping individual certifications current. o Responsible for increasing individual knowledge by attending at least 1 new class/year. o Work with Amerestore Director of Education (DOE) on all company training initiatives o Responsible for technology training and any re-training for any employee not meeting Amerestore standards. • Financial Management o Ability to assist in yearly budgetary processes. o Ability to read and understand P&L statements. o Ability to read and understand Balance Sheet o Understanding of Gross/Net Profit o Ability to make change when the financials dictate. o Expenditure & Cost Management o Monthly financial review with RM - high level (1 hour) § P&L review § Balance Sheet § VPASS § Client Survey § File compliance metrics o Quarterly financial review with RM - deep dive (2 hours) § P&L review § Balance Sheet § VPASS § Client Survey § File compliance metrics § Staff and office review § Qualifications: • Work with leadership and management in a professional, respectful, and businesslike manner • Minimum of 1 year experience in a management role or higher at Amerestore Restoration. • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the restoration industry. • Ability to use company software, apps, and overall technology of the company. • An ability to professionally collaborate, strategize, etc. for the common good of Amerestore Restoration • Ability to understand large picture and build a team to meet those expectations. • Individual that does not need to be managed daily to achieve 30,90,180- and 1-year goals • A strong eye for detail and willing to SAY SOMETHING if you see something. • Ability to analyze data to make educated decisions for success of Amerestore Restoration • Highly organized and able to handle the management of running multiple tasks, numerous people, and an office all at one time. • Willing to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to complete the job 100% • Job requires dedication for a 24/7/365 position (we are an emergency service company servicing the entire country) • Ability to be on call and travel. • Company Driven and put Amerestore Restoration above the individual. • Valid Driver's License and legal to work in the United States • Other duties when assigned. Physical Demands The ability to fulfill any activities normally expected in a restoration/construction management, to include but not limited to • Remaining seated for periods of time to perform computer-based work. • Participating in office environment activities. • Participating in field type situations • Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. • Frequently required to stand, walk, work for extended periods of time • Ability to travel when required (primarily scheduled travel) Job Requirements and specifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. Compensation: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
