AvantGarde, LLC (AG) seeks to engage a SME in SharePoint Development who supports the AG client on site at the Department of Justice (DOJ), Executive Office's by assisting in all SharePoint site development activities including requirements gathering, new site creation and management, and management, and site enhancements. The Senior SharePoint Developer works on the SharePoint /Java team to develop SharePoint document management application for Case Management. AG offers a comprehensive benefit package including immediate medical enrollment and a generous 401k. This is a full time, 40 hours per week position. Work will be performed on a hybrid schedule at the client site in Washington, DC. The WORK Assist with and provide support for the migration of web applications from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online Assist with creating policies for the use of Power Apps and Power Automate Participate in establishing policies and procedures for migrating SharePoint 2019 on premises site collections to SharePoint Online Design site templates in SharePoint Online Advise and assist site collection owners in implementing the templates. Prepare user stories for new development. Provide technical input to the project Design Document. Interface with project managers and provide appropriate update status. Skills & Requirements The REQUIREMENTS A BS, MS, or PhD degree in computer science or related field. Minimum of twelve years' experience delivering SharePoint solutions to customers. Significant experience implementing and maintaining site collections and web applications in SharePoint 2019 Experience implementing applications using Power Apps and Power Automate in SharePoint Online Ability to travel client site in Washington, DC. Understanding of Agile methodology and the creation of user stories. Experience with SQL Server SharePoint certification preferred Must be willing to work on site, full-time, in Downtown DC. Hybrid support is permitted as a result of the COVID pandemic, but remote work may be modified by the customer in the future. Must be able to report for work M-F, 5 days a week. Alternative flex schedule allowed within normal work hours (i.e., between the hours of 7 am - 6 pm). Able to obtain a federal security clearance; active or recent federal security clearance preferred.
