SUMMARY The Director, Learning and Development will provide insight and direction on best practices for company-wide learning and development programs, including manager and leadership training, onboarding, compliance, company applications and systems, sales and customer care. The Director will work closely with key leaders across our business to develop and implement effective learning programs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and develop customized learning solutions for new and existing employees. Stay updated on all new systems, applications, compliance or other changes to anticipate future training needs. Create and update employee and management training curricula that develop capabilities to achieve strategic priorities. Design, develop and deliver engaging and effective in-house and vendor-provided learning content that aligns with changing business needs and enhances employee skills, knowledge, and competencies. Create modules based on training requirements and needs. Identify and train subject-matter experts (SME) on various company platforms and systems; oversee SME peer-to-peer training. Collaborate with management to plan and facilitate onsite training, remote/video training, self-guided e-Learning, and offsite workshops. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in employee development to incorporate into learning strategies. Routinely evaluate all learning programs, using data and feedback to improvement content. Monitor and report on the impact of learning and development initiatives on employee performance and overall business success. Develop and manage the learning and development budget to ensure cost-effective use of resources. Partner with external vendors and consultants to provide specialized training and development programs; customize bid proposals and RFPs. Manage all external training vendor relationships. Serve as a direct point of contact for all training, follow up, and support. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in related HR roles, including learning and development, and organizational development, with a proven track record of driving company-wide programs or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong project management abilities with attention to detail. Experience and proficiency using learning technologies (i.e., Learning Management Systems, digital libraries, and related platforms), SCORM, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to work effectively under pressure with multiple deliverables and deadlines. EEOE Annual salary range: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00
