Would you like to join a growing company that is fun to work at with people who care? Hi, My name is Glenn Dickey Jr., and I work for the very best team on the planet, Marshall Services. I started in this field as a helper, became a NATE certified technician, a plumber, a comfort advisor, a service manager, and now I own the company. Since 2013 I have been building the company every plumber would want to work for. Being that I am a tradesman, I know the difficulties of performing our duties on a daily basis, and I help each team member daily become more successful and have less stress. We have been growing and adding positions to our team, by only accepting the very best candidates who are focused, driven, growth oriented, and want to be a part of a bigger picture of making a permanent impression on the plumbing world. Do you always have to serve angry clients? At Marshall Services, you get to serve happy clients at the highest level. We don't believe in satisfying our customers, instead we believe in providing a WOW experience every single time. It's why our clients are happy. Read some of our reviews clients leave us provided: "A BIG shout out to Glenn Dickey Jr. and the team at Marshall Services for a job well done today installing our brand new heating and A/C unit. The crew arrived on time, they were very professional and finished ahead of schedule. My whole system went down on Saturday and they were able to accommodate us first thing Monday morning at 8:00 AM and finish the job by 4:00 PM.. I highly recommend this company for all HVAC, oil delivery, electric, and drain cleaning services." - Geoff W "The services provided by Marshall Services are superb. Must be a combination of great people and training. Their technical expertise cannot be beat !" Rob M "Just an amazing company! They provided an accurate quote, performed an extensive sewage line cut and replacement as well as a new hot water heater in a timely manner, and even fixed a screw up my good meaning husband made quickly:) We have our contractors for the future and could not recommend them more!" -Stephanie M Do customers like this sound great to work for? Job Duties: Work with the team: You stay in contact with your supervisor and your team to make sure the work orders are completed efficiently - everyone pitches in because it s ultimately about serving the customer. Develop your expertise: You repair and service hvac systems, knowing that you're ultimately helping people live comfortable and safer lives. Over time, you gain a growing expertise at diagnosing problems and understanding how to repair or replace them. You respond to emergencies with safety as your top priority. Become a trusted professional: You keep your tools neat, clean, and well-maintained so they're handy and ready for use and safe. You'll learn to prepare written materials (e.g. scope of work, work orders, bids, equipment inventory, etc.) because you know that this keeps everyone informed - from the customer to the team back at the office. Job Requirements: You love to learn: You have a high school diploma or equivalent. Most importantly, you have a drive to learn more because you know that it serves everyone - from the customer to the team to yourself. You're even willing to be cross-trained in other trades. You're a tech-savvy people-person: You love the puzzle and adventure of understanding and completing the technical challenges you're posed with every day. At the same time, you're comfortable talking to a homeowner and professionally educating them on what their options are. Equipment handling, technical information, basic math and geometry? No problem. You're ready to work: You have experience servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing gas, oil and electric heating systems, as well as air conditioners and heat pumps. Other trade experience is a plus. You have a driver's license, a ready-to-work attitude, and no problem handling the physical demands of the job - balancing on a ladder, crawling through an attic or crawl space occasionally. You're capable of working in enclosed spaces or doing a significant amount of crawling and standing. (Hey, if this is a surprise to you then you probably shouldn't be a hvac technician). You're a professional: You are clean, neat, and well-groomed in appearance and you understand that safety is paramount. You won't work anywhere that is unsafe but you know safety is a two-way street, so you won't do anything unsafe either.
