Job Type Full-time Description Assistant Food and Beverage Director Job Summary The Assistant Food and Beverage Director is responsible for managing all food and beverage operations, including production and service, across the club's dining areas, outlets, events, and banquets. This role involves leading a team by overseeing recruitment, coaching, training, and evaluating staff performance. The Assistant F&B Director collaborates closely with the Executive Chef for menu design and reports directly to the Food and Beverage Director. This role will also be responsible for supervising F&B Managers, Supervisors, Leads, Bartenders, Servers and Host/Hostesses. Additionally, they will be accountable for managing the club's beverage program, including inventory, cost control, menu development, and compliance with SOPs and club policies. Responsibilities Manage departmental budgets and purchasing to ensure optimal quality, pricing, and inventory levels for all food, beverages, and supplies. Implement and oversee effective orientation, training, and development programs for both new and current staff to maintain high standards. Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, preventive maintenance, and energy management standards. Collaborate on the planning, marketing, and execution of both internal and external events and promotions. Work with the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director to develop menus for outlets and special events, ensuring an exceptional member dining experience. Enforce compliance with legal requirements, including wage and hour laws and local, state, and federal regulations. Ensure staff members maintain T.I.P.S. certification where required. Liaison with key club personnel, including the Executive Chef, Catering Manager, and other administrators, to enhance member satisfaction. Maintain a strong, visible presence, providing a warm, welcoming environment for members and guests and ensuring high-quality service. Address and resolve member and guest issues in a positive manner. Uphold cleanliness and upkeep standards for all food and beverage facilities and equipment. Enforce uniform and appearance standards for staff, ensuring a professional and consistent look. Review and approve all beverage, linen, and non-food product invoices for accuracy before submission to the accounting department. Oversee Point of Sale system reconciliation and manage member revenue tracking. Maintain proficiency in departmental software tools and ensure an accurate reservation system is consistently followed.
