This person should be a have 7+ years of experience with software engineering and testing, experience working in an Agile Environment, and experience with Rally. This person will have interactions with leadership and needs to have good communication (both written and oral) and should feel comfortable not waiting and being told what to do. . Responsibilities: • Practice software engineering excellence while developing web applications and tools from a backlog, employing pair programming and other practices. • Work with application development teams and be a change agent • Help PDO teams adopt new ways of working and contribute to institutional knowledge • Advocate the use of Agile principles and other proven practices such as test-driven development (TDD) Become an experienced software engineer that can mentor teams on Agile ways of working, producing well-crafted code Skills Required: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field • 7 + years of Java and Spring Boot development experience. • 3+ years of Experience in Angular • Passion to become a Software Engineer who's proud of clean code Strong desire to learn new skills and apply to solve business problems/opportunities Experience Required: • Full-stack experience • In depth knowledge of any programming language • Automated Testing experience (Unit, Integration, E2E) • Familiar with deploying to cloud platforms, preferably GCP or AWS • Delivered products that include web front-end development; JavaScript, client-side MVC frameworks like Angular, etc. Capable in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools and pipelines such as Jenkins, Gradle, etc. Experience Preferred: Working experience in elastic search Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field EEO: "Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of - Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans."
