What You'll do: Groundswell is looking for experienced Senior Appian Consultants to provide integrated architecture support for our delivery teams and act as a trusted advisor to our clients. Senior Appian Consultants help scale our business by providing expert guidance on solution delivery and designing and integrating cutting-edge Appian solutions into our client's architecture. Architects mentor our delivery teams on best practices for advanced technical solutions and platform design and implement internal processes and tools to improve the efficiencies of the business. Who You'll Be Collaborating With: Our Appian practice is led by Appian alumni with decades of total experience delivering mission-critical Appian solutions at scale, leveraging our award-winning solutions, component libraries, and foundations. Every day, you'll be teaming up with a diverse, enthusiastic, multi-disciplinary team of creative minds with a smart sense of humor. What You'll Be Working On: Lead implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and tangential technologies Supports design, development, and test activities Guide clients on architecture design, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives as needed to drive technical success Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance Create and document implementation best practices as well as knowledge base articles for internal enablement Provide thought leadership on process improvement Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with Appian solutions 5+ years of related IT experience Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area Active Appian Senior or Lead Certification Strong experience with Appian delivery using an Agile methodology Strong technical design and implementation and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner, both verbally and written; active listening skills to gather key information from internal and external partners; analytical and strategic foresight Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a high-paced environment, multi-task (prioritize and manage), and work both independently and as a team (team-building skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a "do whatever it takes attitude") This is a hybrid position (on-site McLean VA / remote) Must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship) Possess an Active Clearance or candidate must be clearable Experience Working In The Following Technologies Required: Appian RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB) Web services, Integrations and Middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion) Experience Working In The Following Areas Is A PLUS: Cloud Computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP) Data management and data visualization/BI DevSecOps and/or Configuration Management Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence Skills: Certification: Why You'll Never Want to Leave: • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans • Flexible Spending Account • 4% 401K Match (immediate vesting) • Paid Time Off • Tuition reimbursement, certification programs, and professional development • Flexible work schedule • On-site gym and childcare option The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
