This is a hands-on role supporting our finance team, where you'll record, reconcile, and report the numbers that drive key decisions. You'll work closely with team leads across departments, ensuring data accuracy that reflects what's really happening on the ground-and in the kitchen. Success in the Role: Onboarding Period In your first few weeks, you'll get to know the key players you'll collaborate with-our financial analyst, COO, and personel in other departments as well. Since you're already a QuickBooks Online expert, you'll dive right into data entry and reconciliation work within your first week. During this period, your supervisor will review your work to ensure accuracy and consistency, setting the tone for your success. You'll also complete your first full monthly cycle of reporting, gaining a clearer understanding of the bigger picture and identifying areas for improvement in the coming months. 3rd Month Goals At the three-month mark, you'll be fully comfortable working with our books, spreadsheets, and reporting cycles. You'll have developed an efficient routine for conducting in-person investigations, tracking down discrepancies, and ensuring clean, consistent data. When you assist our financial analyst with building reports, you'll ensure that every figure reflects reality-because your work is the foundation of accurate reporting and informed decision-making. 1st Year Goals After your first year, you'll be known as the master of all things data and accounting. You won't just know the numbers-you'll know the story behind them because you wrote it, tracking every transaction with precision. You'll handle every financial puzzle as a forensic adventure, solving challenges with ease and taking pride in keeping the books accurate and organized. Every team member will trust that your work is reliable and reflective of what's happening across the organization. Future Growth As your skills grow, you'll have the opportunity to move into financial analysis and controller roles, managing data reporting and strategic planning. You'll shift from recording data to analyzing it, supporting leadership with actionable insights and helping drive business decisions. Eventually, you'll be ready to mentor and lead the next generation of bookkeepers and data managers. Physical Demands: Generally, presents standard office environment. Must be able to remain in a stationary position >95% of the time. Continually operates a computer, keyboard and mouse, and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator copy machine, printer, and mobile Smartphone device. Constantly positions self to comfortably maintain computer equipment. May occasionally be required to move about in an office setting or position office equipment weighing between 10-25 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Ability to operate a motor vehicle. The person in this position frequently communicates with other people.
