Summary The Financial Analyst will play a key role in providing financial and analytical support to DSV's transportation and logistics operations. This includes conducting financial analyses, developing financial models, preparing reports and forecasts, and providing financial guidance to management. The financial analyst will work closely with various teams across the organization to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities Overall responsibility for data entry into accounting/operating system and integrity of system data Prepares monthly/quarterly/yearly financial reports. Prepare, analyze, and distribute P&L monthly to directors and branch managers at over 50 locations. Oversee and review balance sheet in preparation for monthly balance sheet review with management. Create budgets for overhead cost centers and review budgets from branch managers throughout the country, providing guidance if necessary. Build and maintain various Excel templates and reports with the goal of creating efficiencies in the business. Efficiently manage and process financial requests from branches while meeting tight deadlines during the month-end closing period. Support management with audits and ad hoc requests. Educational background / Work experience Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field Master's degree in finance or a related field preferred 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the transportation and logistics industry Experience with financial modeling and analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools. Skills & Competencies Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to synthesize complex data and information into clear and concise reports and presentations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling and analysis tools Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools Computer Literacy Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling and analysis tools Proficient in ERP systems and financial reporting tools For this position, the expected base pay is: $62,500 - $84,500 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
