Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly motivated Bookkeeper to join our team. As a team member, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining records, and performing various accounting tasks. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data. You will have the opportunity to work closely with other members of our team and gain valuable experience in the field. As Bookkeeper, you will utilize your strong understanding of accounting principles and practices to assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports. Your proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks will be essential in maintaining accurate and complete financial records. Additionally, your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively communicate with vendors and other employees. Your ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data. Finally, your strong problem-solving and analytical skills will be utilized in assisting with audits and other financial projects. Responsibilities: • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports including journal entries; account analysis and bank reconciliations • Process weekly driver payroll and handle escrow reconciliations • Scan and reconcile checks received from customers via Cash Pro • Review and record daily bank activity for various entities • Process ACH receipts from customers via Cash Pro • Handle weekly payables through QuickBooks • Process monthly landlord checks and tenant rental invoices • Maintain corporate credit card activity and sales & use tax reports Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in accounting • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Preferred Qualifications: • 5 Years minimum Accounting Experience • Experience in a Wholesale Trade industry • Knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Access • Experience with financial statements and analysis • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
