Expected salary range of $135,900 to $151,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Manage all functions related to Chemistry and Radioactive Waste management. Ensure chemistry programs required to protect all critical plant assets are effectively implemented. Provide station leadership and advocate for chemistry and radioactive waste performance. This includes all performance and regulatory issues related to the chemistry and radwaste management. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Participate as a station leader and peer group member to drive department and station performance Supervise/mentor direct reports and coach department members Monitor performance and maintain aggressive performance plans and goals Manage and oversee contracts, including full time contractors, for radioactive waste management, raw water chemical treatment and control, makeup water processing, and other chemistry sampling and analysis responsibilities. Responsible for the department/station improvement plans and budget Responsible for regulatory aspects of chemistry, radwaste and environs sampling/analysis programs Responsible for development planning & succession planning within department Responsible for BU/Management relationship Responsible for Training Program MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or other related field AND 8 years professional Chemistry-related experience, or technical nuclear plant experience, with at least 3 in a supervisory role ANSI requirements per station specifications PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Operations background Financial experience Environmental experience Experience with CBA/ labor relations Experience with regulators
