Description Hilltop Y: Teen After-School Program Teen Program Assistant Location: Hilltop YMCA Salary: $14 per hour Part-Time (38 hours per week seasonally, 20 hours during the school year) Benefits: FREE YMCA Membership Paid Training Discounted Child Care Career Growth Opportunities Work with Diverse Teams Summer Employment Opportunities CONNECT WITH MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AFTER SCHOOL Duties include: Responsible for collaborative planning and implementing of daily programming Work closely with school and Y personnel to ensure positive outcomes for students and connection between the school, students, families and the Y. Develop and maintain positive relationships with Y employees, school personnel and administration, students and families. Maintain written attendance data, meal count records, collect assessment data and provide reports as necessary. Operate daily groups in a ratio of 1:20 comfortably Assist with transportation supervision Create a welcoming and engaging environment for a diverse group of young adults ages 11-17 Facilitate group games, physical activities, STEM and creative arts projects, and more! Requirements Qualifications/Requirements: At least 21+ Years Old Education, Recreation Management or similar related Associate's/Bachelor's degree preferred Available to work between 2pm-6pm Reliable transportation
