A Day in the Life of an Audit Supervisor... Performing a variety of accounting and auditing tasks. Participating in customer meetings, presenting deliverables, and developing proposals. Preparing straightforward and concise work documents and carrying out numerous GAAP-mandated procedures to check the correctness and authenticity of the client's financial affairs. Actively connecting with key client management to seek data, resolve accounting/audit related issues, and provide business and process improvement recommendations. Planning and carrying out day-to-day audit engagement activities for charitable, governmental, and for-profit customers. Investing time in business consulting to cultivate external contacts that will lead to extra prospects for the company. Participate in staff training, monitor and coach performance and productivity to boost performance. CPA License achieved or in process of achieving. Leadership experience and desire to participate in leadership opportunities. Ability to manage priorities and workflow. Ability to deal appropriately with confidential information and to demonstrate a high level of professionalism. Strong community orientation. Ability to reason intelligently and use sound judgment. Professional demeanor towards duties and responsibilities, particularly with regard to independence, professional ethics, and the exercise of professional judgment.
