Hafele America Co. is searching for an experienced Architectural Representative who has successfully specified projects in NYC tri-state area. The Business Development Manager is responsible for lead generation, A&D customer development/leadership and ultimately gaining specifications within their assigned geographic area. You will be part of the local market team driving specifications and properly using to manage projects. Duties and Responsibilities: Meet with Architects, Designers, and Developers to promote material On-site visits with potential clients and in the NYC Showroom Work closely with Territory Managers to track & close specified projects Create new relations/accounts Overall knowledge of Architectural components Effective client relationship management Creatively advise clients with selection of material for designated rooms/projects JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or similar discipline minimum of 5 years' experience selling architecturally specified products, background in construction materials required. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation/ demonstration skills, knowledge of computer systems/programs, demonstrated ability to organize and manage time, demonstrated sales ability, knowledge of local/ regional markets preferred and the ability to travel as necessary.
