As a Housekeeping/Room Attendant at Moxy Vanderbilt Hillsboro Village, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the hotel maintains its high cleanliness standards. You will ensure that guest rooms and public areas are impeccably clean, organized, and ready to deliver the unforgettable Moxy experience. What You'll Do : Room Cleaning & Maintenance Clean and organize guest rooms following established procedures, including making beds, restocking amenities, and tidying spaces to meet Moxy's high standards. Promptly report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors to maintain safety and room quality. Public Area Upkeep Maintain cleanliness and order in public areas such as corridors, the lobby, and shared spaces. Assist with cleanliness in back-of-house areas when needed, ensuring all spaces meet cleanliness standards. Guest Interaction & Service Respond courteously and promptly to guest requests, offering friendly and attentive service. Create a welcoming and positive guest experience by ensuring cleanliness and interacting with guests in a helpful manner. Adherence to Moxy Standards Strictly follow Moxy's cleaning and service protocols to maintain our brand's vibrant and energetic atmosphere. Pay close attention to cleanliness details in all areas to ensure a polished and inviting environment. What You Bring : Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles in hospitality is a plus, but not mandatory - we provide training! A keen eye for detail and ability to follow cleaning procedures and standards. Physical stamina to handle tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. Strong communication skills and a guest-focused mindset to enhance the overall guest experience. Physical Requirements : Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Light work - exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 40 pounds frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.
