Position Summary This position is responsible for the organization and administration of all IT systems in the organization. Evaluates and recommends systems for ASYST to operate in a digital environment. Will be responsible for recommending, implementing, testing, maintaining and providing user help to IT systems throughout the organization. Improves systems by reviewing current practices and determining modifications to current systems. Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures. Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones and phases; forms a project team, establishing budgets. Position Requirements At least 3 years IT experience in a network environment Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience Experience troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving information system problems Strong knowledge of personal computing products; to include hardware, communications, word processing, database, presentation graphics and spreadsheets Advanced knowledge of various IT systems Knowledge of business operating systems, including ERP packages & Linux skills Strong skill base in Microsoft Office Suite Strong Project Management Skills Excellent verbal and written communication Experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to work as an individual performer in a team environment with diversified personalities and levels within the organization as required by the specific project(s) Local candidates only (able to commute to the Kenosha area) Preferred Requirements Programming skills APICS membership, education, or certification a plus Experience with QAD Physical Requirements Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
