Local business discounts Essential Job Functions Maintain good working order of basic building plumbing, HVAC, and electric Repair drywall, paint, and wallpaper as needed Conduct preventative maintenance as required Diagnose and repair facility systems when breakdown occurs Order necessary parts and maintain par levels Maintain highest safety standards for guests and fellow employees Complete documentation of work performed for all building services Must be able to read and understand blueprints and schematics Assist Public Space Attendant with hotel guest calls as needed Assist with snow removal Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language Must have dependable transportation to and from work Must have valid Driver's License 4-6 years of experience in the Maintenance field 1-2 years of plumbing experience 2-4 years of electrical experience (120 Volt min) Preferred Qualifications Degree in Maintenance field or trade certificate completion a plus Previous maintenance experience in a hotel/restaurant/entertainment complex setting Highly dependable with a history of consistent attendance and punctuality Demonstrates a positive and friendly attitude towards guests, customers, and fellow employees. Physical requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be regularly required to perform physical activity that includes moving about the work area, standing, sitting, bending, reaching with hands and arms, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, hearing and smelling. The team member will be frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. He or she is required to have the visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned. Lifting requirements: The team member will occasionally be required to lift, push, pull, lower and/or move up to 75 lbs occasionally. Noise Level: The noise level in this environment is typically variable and can often involve working in noisy environments for long periods of time. Work schedule: The work schedule may fluctuate to including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
