Ensure all IMS & BRC requirements are followed to ensure continuous certification. Actively participates in CAPA meetings, safety meetings, MDI discussions and 5S activities. Assists staff with the development and implementation of corrective action plans to improve quality and enhance job performance. Reviews all order packets to ensure accurate completion by Lead Techs (Paperwork, standard and critical quality checks, visual inspections, entry of lot numbers on all jobs for traceability , and retain procedure) Ensures other production tasks are completed and documented accurately and in a timely manner including housekeeping records and finished goods labeling. Conducts effective performance evaluation and regular coaching sessions with staff to develop core competencies, address performance improvements. Holds staff accountable and are focused on improving performance. Regular coaching and 1:1 sessions to address development, engagement, and performance. Utilize Gallup engagement survey data to develop and engage direct reports Actively engages with staff to establish and complete training and progression plans to develop staff Utilize HRIS system (ADP) to manage attendance, performance reviews, and future People development and management tools within the system Participation for Interviewing and selecting staff for their shift OUR SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible Produce quality materials to be distributed to customers Maintain production volume and efficiency Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way Troubleshoot mechanical issues, requesting supervisor assistance when needed OUR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: At least 3-5 years of Leadership experience in a supervisory role, in a manufacturing facility with a focus on quality, safety and accountability. Degree or certification in management or related is desired Must have solid, proven performance showing leadership, quality, safety, and job ability. No previous attendance pattern concerns. Experience and Strength to lead and motivate people Ability to lead and make connections with people while motivating them to achieve results Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and judgment particularly in ambiguous or complex situations. Ability to make big picture, strategic decisions that are well thought out and analyzed Remains calm under pressure and can lead thru difficult situations. Highly proficient written and verbal communication skills Able to lead and control multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment. Physical Work and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand most of their 12-hour shift on a cement production floor. The team member frequently is required to use arms to reach and hands to handle or feel. The team member must repetitively lift and/or move up to 65 pounds. Must be able to routinely climb stairs and work safely around numerous hot surfaces and rotating equipment. Team members are also required to frequently talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Team members in this role are exposed to seasonal temperature/humidity changes that can be near 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Are our values a match for you?
