Position: Assembler Location: Londonderry, New Hampshire Schedule: We're currently working our 9/80 summer schedule! M-F Schedule: enjoy every other Friday OFF! A six-month 9/80 work schedule (a two-workweek schedule of eight 9-hour days, one 8-hour day, and one day off) and from November to April, 7:00AM to 3:30PM Monday through Friday Salary: Commensurate with experience - Let's talk! Due to growth, we're searching for experienced Assemblers to join our growing team! We're looking for Assemblers with the right skills and initiative to work independently and as part of a highly skilled team to assemble large industrial machinery components while following blueprints, specific job specifications, and oral and written specifications. Our Assemblers have a high technical aptitude and are comfortable working with a wide variety of hand, power, pneumatic, and automated tools, and they love what they do! Maybe you will too? Join our assembly team, where you'll play a key role in hoisting and assembling our stainless steel mixers and ensuring every piece is prepped and ready for action. What's your typical day? Prepare to stay active and fully immersed as you work on assembling and preparing our state-of-the-art products for shipment. You'll play a crucial role on our team, ensuring our stainless steel mixers are expertly built and ready to go. Beyond just assembly, you'll contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workspace. Your day will involve hands-on tasks, precise electronic documentation, and the satisfaction of bringing large-scale industrial equipment to life while working with our talented and dynamic team! Assembler Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Assembly Assemble products based on drawings, blueprints and pictures Assemble components using basic hand tools Wire electric motors and sub-assemblies using a wiring schematic Follow assembly and test procedures to meet quality and functionality standards Record assembly information electronically Performs accurate data and record keeping in both paper and digital format (through basic computer use) Prepare equipment for shipment, including packaging and assembling wooden crates to ship product when workload requires assistance in shipping area Operate HVLP paint sprayer and power filter-ventilation booth Operate pneumatic tools, such as framing gun and stapler Operate power tools such as radial arm saw, circular saw and panel saw Safety Maintain work area and overall shop area in clean and safe condition. Wear protective equipment when required. Complete fork truck safety class. Maintain department/company 6S standards Use cranes and other assistance methods as needed Assembler Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong mechanical aptitude Basic wiring / electrical knowledge Ability to operate an electric forklift is required Ability to use basic hand tools is required Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift is required Ability to bend, kneel, and ascend/descend stairs is required Ability to lift 50lbs is required Basic computer and writing skills required Operation of overhead hoists Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals are required Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment is required Ability to work independently and in a team environment and perform various functions as directed by the Production Manager Ability to apply critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and fix product defects Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Attendance - consistently arrives to work on time and is willing to work overtime Assembler Credentials and Experience Minimum high school diploma College courses preferred Previous mechanical assembly experience preferred Experience with large mechanical assemblies preferred Continuous Improvement Assembler Special Requirements Self-motivated Positive Attitude Attention to detail Requires minimal supervision and can work independently Admix is an equal-opportunity employer.
