The role is an individual contributor responsible for translating the marketing strategy or brief into actionable creative design by working collaboratively with the brand and design team. The role needs a strategic understanding of the business and acts as liasion between the business and design to create compelling creative projects. This includes allocating the appropriate design resources, determining the schedules and timelines and developing scorecards to leadership on project volume, status and efficiency. What will I do as a Marketing Traffic Coordinator? Strategic Creative Development > Takes the marketing proposition developed by the brand marketing team and translates into a consumer value proposition or "hook" to brief the creative team. > Serves as an account planner and traffic controller to drive creative execution in line with the overall brand strategy > Possesses an understanding of the business and makes recommendations to leverage media properties to capture customer awareness and/or increase customer engagement > Leads idea generation that will yield strong conceptual design with the design team Project Management >Responsible for overseeing major campaign projects from a creative development perspective to ensure that all aspects are cohesive from messaging through design and that each element has been optimized for maximum customer impact > Responsible for collaborating with marketing planning, merchandising and other departments on any problem identified for resolution within projects Resource Planning & Allocation > Allocates resources and builds timelines to ensure maximum allowable time for outstanding creative development > Manage all submissions for creative work >Review briefs for completion > Assign work based on resource availability and guidelines provided by Design Lead > Create and distribute daily report on work >Lead daily design development meeting on work and resource updates >Update schedules/estimates as needed >Provide advance plans on resource trends to Marketing Operations Lead and recommendations to enhance traffic flow >Track and scorecard late or delayed projects Negotiation and Problem Solving >Negotiate and problem solve for resource log jams and other scheduling demands >Mediate deadlines and work with distribution teams for signs, ROPs etc. on specific project details Drive Process Improvements for creative, traffic management, and workflow 10 reasons why you should join The GIANT Company: Purpose-Driven Mission: Join a company dedicated to Connecting Families for a Better Future, where your work directly impacts the strength of families and communities. Hybrid Remote: This position is based out of Carlisle, Pa. and will require 3 days a week in the office. Reporting: The Marketing Traffic Coordinator reports into the Manager of Brand Integrity.
