LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a temporary Paralegal with mid-level experience to support a legal team in Fredericksburg, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research, document preparation, and case management, contributing to the effective operation of our practice. This opportunity is temporary, full time, and fully onsite. Key Responsibilities: - Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents - Conduct legal research and summarize findings to support ongoing cases - Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date - Prepare and file legal documents with courts and administrative agencies - Coordinate communication with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel - Manage calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings - Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care Qualifications: - Associates degree or certificate in paralegal studies; Bachelors degree preferred - A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal or in a similar role - Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal document management software - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment - Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
