Recruit Secure is collaborating with a large and stable healthcare corporation that owns and operates several Assisted Living Facilities through-out New Jersey and is seeking an experienced Vice President of Human Resources with outstanding people skills to partner with their leadership team to set and meet corporate goals and to collaboratively work with their employees in all aspects of the Human Resource function. Additionally, a strong focus of this position is to monitor the employment levels of the nursing staff in each facility and to ensure that there is adequate staffing to ensure daily resident care.This position corporate office is located in Edison, NJ and will be overseeing Human Resource relations for all of the companys Assisted Living Facilities. Some Responsibilities: Proactively provide strategic HR direction to the organization, developing and implementing human resources policies, programs and services to support organizational growth and development. Hire, Manage, and Mentor HR Staff to maintain positive employee relations and resolve employee concerns through meetings with managers, supervisors, and others. Advise senior staff on policy and regulatory compliance with City, State, and Federal employment laws. Ensure company and HR policies and goals are being met. Works closely with the Directors and other senior level staff members to determine appropriate and adequate staffing levels (daily and by shift) while meeting the needs of the current patient census. Provides guidance and interpretation of HR policies, Recommends and implements best practices. Works with HR Coordinators and leadership team to boost employee retention, and address talent management goals and issues . Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience. PHR certification a plus but not required 6+ years Human Resources managment experience within healthcare is a must. Experience working in a Assisted Living Facilities or long- term care facility - a must. Good understanding of Assisted Living Home Operations and Admissions Proficient computer skills and software (HRIS). Familiarity with Scheduling software. In-depth knowledge of New Jersey State employment laws Knowledgeable with DOH, State, and Federal healthcare regulatory compliance Strong judgment and critical thinking skills #IND123
