Summary of the Position: Tishman Speyer is seeking to hire a Seasonal Heavy Duty Cleaner. This person will be responsible for daily cleaning tasks for front of house space and customer (tenant) spaces. The Seasonal Heavy Duty Cleaner will ensure all areas are clean, disinfected, and items are restocked and maintained to our health and safety standards. The successful candidate will help to create and maintain a clean, attractive, and welcoming environment for our customers (tenants), visitors, and the community. Key Responsibilities: Sweep, mop, and disinfect public corridors, lobby floors, and all high touch point surfaces. Spot clean carpets daily, shampooing & disinfecting of carpeting as directed. Spot clean interior walls and wash as requested. Maintain all exterior plaza, building entrance areas, and vestibules. Wipe and disinfect all turnstiles, revolving and push door handles, elevator call buttons, Security desks, stair, and escalator handrails. Disinfect lavatories, restock paper and hand washing supplies, and remove trash daily. Damp wipe surfaces using approved disinfectant to include waste baskets, sills, shelves, toilets, urinals, and bright work. Sweep and mop/disinfect floors. Spot clean stall partitions and disinfect high touch points as directed. Remove trash from freight areas to compactor. Strip and refinish floors. Machine scrub floors. Assist with moving furniture upon request. Assist with manual snow and ice removal and ice melt application. Operate snow removal equipment. Communicate with customers, employees, and management regarding tasks, requests, and updates as needed Additional cleaning tasks as required. Skills & Qualifications: Passion for maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Ability to understand and communicate in English, verbally Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for an extended period, at a minimum of 8 hours. Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, reach over-head, place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Ability to work outdoors with varying temperatures ranging from 0 - 100+. Ability to travel between floors and buildings. Wear Personal Protective Equipment that may be required, such as but not limited to: safety glasses, safety goggles, face shield, chemical-resistant reusable gloves, disposable gloves, face mask for infectious disease control, nuisance dust mask, and closed shoes with non-slip soles.
