Founders is searching for a dedicated individual with project management or project coordinator experience to join our Technical Project team located on site at our Corporate Headquarters in Lancaster, SC. Remote work is not available. The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading, overseeing the planning and implementation of Information Technology projects, including creating the project schedule with specific milestones, setting goals, planning, leading meetings, executing, and monitoring every aspect of the project. The IT Project Manager provides structure and process to interactions, so teams throughout the department can focus on the technical tasks that have been assigned for the project. Job Responsibilities The IT Project Manager will follow established project management principals, organize meetings, provide detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, coordination with business and risk assessment. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Communicate with all team members, the business, vendors, and management on specific milestones, status, individual responsibilities, and risks while creating a positive team environment. Lead project team meetings, keeping meetings focused and on tasks by including agenda topics, providing dates for upcoming milestones and ownership of specific tasks. Track project performance and schedule adherence using approved project management tools. Manage and lead multiple IT projects concurrently, ensuring they are on time and within scope. Understanding of the various roles of the IT team members, identifying potential team member deficiencies that may impact the success of the project. Coordination for any meetings that involve subject matter experts including developing test plans, testing schedules, documentation, CSA, vendors, and process efficiencies related to the project. Meet with sponsor and system owners to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs. Continually inspect the milestone and details of the technical projects, to ensure that we are keeping on track with the project goals. Monitoring project tasks and milestones to ensure timely delivery. Compile and submit project status reports, minutes, and clear assignments to team members with actionable due dates. Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPI) and report on project status to stakeholders and senior management. Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, taking steps to resolve them promptly. Work closely with third party vendors and internal team members for successful implementation. Participate in key vendor meetings, ensuring that open tasks with the vendor are moving in the correct direction for the credit union. Adhere to proper change control processes. Actively lead meetings with FIT, LLC customers, keeping track of milestones and due dates. Work directly with FIT, LLC customers and the IT teams to ensure engagements provided by FIT, LLC are structured, and objectives are met within the agreed upon time. Comply with Founders' policies and procedures, as well applicable laws, regulations, and statutes issued by federal agencies such as NCUA and FFIEC, including, but not limited to, GLBA and BSA. Job Requirements The IT Project Manager should possess excellent interpersonal, leadership, communication, and organizational skills, and be able to understand and explain technical information to technical and non-technical audiences while building rapport, and trust with team members, the business, FIT, LLC customers and vendors. The IT Project Manager should have strong analytical and critical thinking skills to oversee any issues that occur during project completion. The IT Project Manager should follow good meeting practices, keep a clear record of meeting agenda and time, have a variety of listening skills including the ability to paraphrase; draw people out; balance participation; and make space for quite group members. The IT Project Manager should have respect for all participants and a good understanding of the process and how to enable group decision making, structuring agendas for appropriate results and critical thinking skills. The IT Project Manager should have strong organizational and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget. The IT Project Manager will deliver value by leading project teams and driving effective collaboration with team members and the business. The IT Project Manager should be able to work under time constraints and manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Candidate must have the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification that is issued by the Product Management Institute. A minimum of seven years' work experience leading projects, and a minimum of five years' experience leading technical projects is required. Previous project work with financial institutions is required. A bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or information technology is required. Proven proficiency in Microsoft products is required. Due to the critical nature of data security, each employee has the responsibility to protect company data. Adhere to the principle of least privilege to reduce the risk of unauthorized access to critical systems or sensitive data by maintaining account permissions to accounts, processes and programs only required to do the job assigned. Follow the asset management lifecycle process and procedures to support the efforts in maintaining an accurate and efficient configuration management inventory. Maintain knowledge and understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the Incident Response teams defined in the Incident Response Plan. Due to the nature of project deadlines, system update requirements and end of period processing schedules, evening and weekend work will be required based on the demands of the department.
