Our client is a leading asset management firm with a robust portfolio of ETFs and Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs). They cater to High Net Worth Individuals, Family Offices, and Institutional Investors, delivering customized investment strategies across a wide range of asset classes. We are seeking a talented and experienced Investment Manager to oversee and manage SMA (Separately Managed Accounts) portfolios. This individual will work closely with portfolio managers, analysts, and clients to ensure the effective management, growth, and performance of these accounts, tailoring investment strategies to meet client needs. Key Responsibilities Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage a portfolio of SMAs, ensuring alignment with clients' investment objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizon. Investment Strategy Development: Develop and implement tailored investment strategies for HNW, family office, and institutional clients across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternatives. Rebalancing: Monitor and execute periodic rebalancing of SMA portfolios and ETFs to maintain asset allocation in line with clients' strategic objectives. Direct Indexing Management: Manage direct index strategies within ETFs and SMAs, optimizing for tax efficiency and customization to meet client-specific preferences. Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis on market trends, economic conditions, and individual securities to inform investment decisions. Risk Management: Monitor portfolios for risk exposures and ensure appropriate risk mitigation strategies are in place. Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the performance of managed accounts, making necessary adjustments to optimize returns. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including analysts, traders, and compliance, to ensure smooth operations and adherence to investment guidelines and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred). Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in portfolio or asset management, specifically with SMAs. Multi-asset experience with a preference for experience with equities, including in-depth knowledge of equity markets and equity-focused investment strategies. Proven track record in managing investment portfolios for HNW individuals, family offices, and institutional investors. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail, Python & SQL. Proficiency in portfolio management software and financial analysis tools. Understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management practices, and tax optimization strategies in direct indexing and portfolio management.
