Position Overview : The Quantitative Research Analyst will work within the firm's quantitative research group, support all of Causeway's investment strategies, and report to the quantitative research portfolio managers. The candidate's primary responsibilities will be to research and refine stock selection factors, risk models, transaction cost models and support quantitative team members. The candidate will also have the opportunity to interact with other investment professionals and will gain exposure to both fundamental and quantitative research and portfolio management. Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical, mathematical, and computer programming skills (Python, SQL). Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) preferred. Identify, process, and apply new concepts quickly and effectively. Effective verbal and written communication. Thrives in a team-oriented and collaborative environment. Intrinsic passion for investing and an appreciation of disciplined investment strategies. Education/Experience: Minimum 2-years quantitative research experience required. Bachelor's degree with outstanding GPA required. Preferred candidates may have graduate-level degrees. Experience working in quantitative equity investments and previous investment experience in global equities and/or high dividend yield strategies are preferred. Working knowledge of financial software (e.g., FactSet, Bloomberg, Axioma). Proficient with large time-series databases. Benefits of Employment: Generous data budget.
