Role: Data Project Manager - Managing Data Projects. Location: NJ, NY/ Windsor, CT Area - This is Hybrid Role in EST time zone. Duration: Long term Rate: Market 12-15 years or more of project management experience delivering IT software projects. With Experience managing Datawarehouse projects into Insurance P&C customers Strong understanding of Data Concepts , Data Migration, Data Management, Data Upgrade, Data collection Developing and implementing effective data strategies Candidate should be an advanced user of MS Project , experienced with how to manage plans that contain auto-scheduled, effort-driven tasks. Demonstrates expert-levels of capability in all project management competencies , including planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling of IT projects. Demonstrates appropriate sense of urgency to meet project deadlines and pushes the team to ensure timeliness. Demonstrates strong customer focus; is responsive, consultative, collaborative and accurate in work approach . Considers project impacts and outcomes from the business (customer's) perspective. Able to create clear, concise messaging to all organizational levels . Demonstrates experience delivering difficult messages to stakeholders and leaders Anticipates, identifies, and manages project risks, issues, assumptions and decisions; escalates in an appropriate and timely manner. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
