Who we need: We are looking for a qualified, motivated, and experienced Payroll Specialist to oversee the organization's payroll functions, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations. What you'll do: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors. Distribute quarterly earnings reports to accounting/finance departments. Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. What we're looking for: Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficient with payroll software/Must know ADP Workforce Now Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred Three to five years of related experience preferred. Property Management experience a plus Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times What we can do for you!
