Tempus Advisors, an independent wealth advisory practice, located in Fairfield County Connecticut and affiliated with Raymond James, is seeking a growth focused Financial Advisor to join our team. Our practice is dedicated to delivering comprehensive financial planning solutions tailored to our clients' diverse needs and objectives. Position Overview: This dynamic position offers both a business development role and the opportunity to assist in managing existing relationships of the practice. This candidate will play a pivotal role in our practice's growth and success. In addition to developing the firm's wealth advisory practice, we are also focused on building out our existing corporate retirement planning business and all facets of insurance. Knowledge and Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management abilities. Entrepreneurial mindset. Must be highly motivated and result-driven. Able to take initiative and manage the traditional sales cycle. Demonstrates commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality. Strong dedication to providing an exceptional client experience. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services. Experience working with corporate retirement plans and insurance is beneficial, but not required. Book of business a plus, but not required. Capacity to work independently, but also function in a team environment when the situation dictates. Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to develop customized wealth management strategies, tailored to their financial and investment objectives. Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, including maintaining appropriate licensing and registrations. Prioritize consistent communication with clients, conducting regular reviews, and offering ongoing support, to address their evolving needs and goals. Execute all responsibilities in accordance with regulatory policies and procedures. Build and nurture strong, trustworthy client relationships founded on professionalism, ethics, and trust. Prepare client proposals. Requirements: Bachelor's degree Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for generating presentations and maintaining spreadsheets. Licensed with FINRA Series 7 & 63/65 or 66. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow through effectively. Able and willing to work in an office setting on a full-time basis. Integrity, a dedicated work ethic, and desire to help others.
