$15-$16 per hour +Career growth opportunities! Overview The Assistant Manager works closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee site operations. This is a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment and leaders must have the aptitude to solve problems quickly. Hours are mainly daytime but will also include evenings, weekends, and holiday as needed. Categories QSR, Restaurant, Personnel Management, Cook, Food Service, Food Safety, Customer Satisfaction, Inventory Control Essential Job Functions Act as Manager on Duty in the GM's absence Prepare customer orders Create and submit daily reports as needed Provide on-call support to ensure appropriate staffing Assist with scheduling employees as needed Assist with product orders and maintaining appropriate inventory levels Assist with recruiting, hiring, & training of staff Adhere to all standards of cleanliness and sanitization Maintain accurate recipes and preparation standards Create a positive work environment for team members Maintain site cleanliness and sanitation standards Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning for all equipment Implement and maintain safety procedures Control all cash and merchandise inventories and engage in theft prevention strategies Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations Consistently model exceptional customer service and professional behavior according to company policies Other duties as required Basic Qualifications & Physical Requirements 18+ years of age Kitchen experience required; preferred: 1+ years in restaurant or retail management High school diploma or equivalent Valid Driver License and reliable transportation Authorized to work in the United States Night, weekend, and holiday availability Communicate effectively in English (hear, speak, read, & write) Safely lift 55 lbs. and carry short distances Stand and walk for 8+ consecutive hours Climb a stepstool, reach with arms above head, grasp with hands, crouch, and kneel Use hands bilaterally and unilaterally Accurately select options from a register and touch screen monitor Familiarity with inventory management Read and understand a series of instructions Accurately take payment and count change Count and weigh product; calculate basic math Withstand extreme temperatures for short periods, such as when stocking freezers Basic computer skills, such as email and Microsoft Office Preferred: ServSafe Manager certification Excellent Benefits Health, Dental, Vision, & Life Insurance Paid vacation, sick leave, & holidays Bonus structure 401(k) with company match Tuition reimbursement program Career advancement opportunities!
