Wound Care Coordinator

Wound Care Coordinator Location: Ann Arbor - 4701 E. Huron River Drive, Ann Arbor, MI, 48105 Job Description: The Wound Care Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the wound care program at the facility. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating wound care plans for patients. The Wound Care Coordinator will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. Responsibilities: Assess and evaluate patients with wounds Develop and implement wound care plans Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wound care plans Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care Provide education and training to staff on wound care best practices Maintain accurate and complete patient records Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to wound care Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to wound care Requirements: Current nursing license in the state of Michigan Certification in wound care (WOCN or equivalent) Minimum of 2 years of experience in wound care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to wound care #AA
