What you will do Role Overview: EDPR NA Distributed Generation (EDPR DG) is a rapidly growing company dedicated to overseeing solar photovoltaic projects across the United States. Our Asset Management team optimizes system performance, generates reports, manages contracts, and oversees maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our projects. The Asset Management Analyst will provide asset management support to ensure all commercial and operational obligations are met. This role involves maintaining a database of key project information, onboarding new projects, managing contracts and compliance tasks, and supporting the broader asset management team. Main responsibilities: Performance Optimization: Track portfolio performance and recommend optimization strategies. Perform financial and technical optimization analyses of asset portfolios. Support and maintain project-level budgets and budget reporting. Conduct variance analysis on operating expenses to identify deviations, rectify errors, and apply lessons learned. Participate in ad-hoc analyses of historical and forward-looking asset performance with the Asset Management team. Operation and Maintenance: Oversee maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of solar photovoltaic projects. Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with operational standards. Coordinate with service providers to address and resolve operational issues promptly. Monitor system performance and continuously improve time-to-acknowledge. Project Onboarding: Coordinate the integration of new assets into the portfolio and streamline the handover process. Onboard new projects into existing databases, reviewing agreements and contracts for deliverables, contractual requirements and key data. Coordinate and track efforts to ensure timely progress and satisfactory resolution of issues with service providers. Reporting & Invoicing: Assist with incentive procurement/billing, regulatory reporting, and PPA billing. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely reporting obligations. Notify relevant staff and resolve issues when milestones are missed or trigger events occur. Maintain internal documents and records of customer requests, work performed, inventory, and other O&M information. Compliance and Administration: Administer asset/land owner obligations and interests under project and financing agreements. Manage business-related licenses, permits, regulatory requirements, reporting, and transactions with regional authorities, banks, tax assessors, and other external parties. Employment type Full Time Work site Hybrid Work Schedule (3/2) What are we looking for Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field Solar experience highly preferred 1 - 2 years of relevant asset management experience preferred (preferably solar). Understanding of Microsoft products and/or complementing products preferred. Competency in Analytical Problem Solving and Strong Communication skills.
