Senior Financial Analyst

This Senior Financial Analyst provides accurate financial information for internal use (Management Reporting) and routine Statutory reporting to the parent company (Japan). Duties include budgeting and forecasting, manufacturing cost analysis, segment financial performance, regional and/or customer profitability, ad hoc support as required by operating and commercial managers, special financial reporting and other tasks as assigned. This position manages one staff accountant. Essential Functions: Performs daily cash analysis/reconciliation including report to AGC Capital. Leads the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives. Prepares ad hoc and standard analysis for internal reporting. Conducts comprehensive cost accounting analysis to identify and track manufacturing costs and variances. Develops and maintains financial models to evaluate customer profitability and business units' financial performance. Prepares monthly and quarterly income statements, balance sheets and statements of cash flow Investigates variances from Budget and business plans Inputs monthly external [BOFC] management reports. Performs monthly general ledger account reconciliations as assigned. Continuously seeks process and financial reporting improvements. Tracks and monitors capital [EP] projects for completion and capitalization. Communicates effectively internally and externally. Completes special assignments as requested by management. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required. MBA or CPA a plus. 5 to 7 years of prior experience in financial analysis, preferably in manufacturing and/or distribution Computer proficiency (MS Office application) and ERP aptitude. Knowledge of accounting and control principles (GAAP/IFRS/SOX). Experience with Budgeting and forecasting system platforms, preferably Workday adaptive planning or similar business intelligence platforms. Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy to meet deadlines, investigate problems, and make sound decisions based on findings. Good communication skills. Interaction with personnel in all company departments and locations is required Onsite/In office work required
